Morals in todays society

I am not going to get high and mighty about right and wrong but it seems that in todays society the only motivating factor with business is greed. I understand completely that companies need to make a buck but it is often at the expense of either their customers or clients. It seems that the tough economy is really driving people to expose their true colors. When money gets tight and people start cutting back on impulse buys then the people who make money from those impulse buys rear their ugly heads. The veil is ripped away and the true motivations behind their previously pleasant exterior is shown.

When that happens I can’t help but hope that those companies dry up and become a “casualty” of the economic crisis.

Affiliate.com – A company with style

It isn’t often that I rave about an affiliate marketing company that I work with as I am not the type of marketer that lets everyone know what I am doing. I have to make an exception in this case. Affiliate.Com (Formerly CPAEmpire) has always been a great company to work with. Their specialist have always gone above and beyond to help me when I had questions or concerns and they have been the one company that I go to consistently when I am looking for a product to promote.

There is one more accolade I can give to them – They are marketing geniuses with a sense of style. I recently received a TShirt from Affiliate.com in celebration of Affiliate Summit West and this shirt rocks!

This shirt is fantastic! And the best part about it is the stylishly written URL on the back of the shirt. Why is this such an important feature? Well people see me wearing this shirt (it really REALLY stands out) and then see the URL on the back and they instantly engage me in conversation. They want to know what affiliate.com is. It can’t help but notice a bit of envy in their voice as they are asking me about the company and then when they ask “Do you work for them?” I get to reply with “Nope. They just love their clients!”

Good job Affiliate.com, Good Job.
